By now we’ve all heard the news – GE is coming to Boston .

As the Commonwealth cheers, and our local economy booms, First Call Trucking & Courier, in conjunction with Business Transportation Solutions in Stoughton, Wisconsin is offering a daily trailer shuttle to assist the multinational conglomerate that is General Electric as it relocates its storage warehouses in Westborough, Framingham, Franklin and Marlborough, Massachusetts to prep for the upcoming headquarters move from Fairfield, Connecticut to Boston’s newly renovated Seaport District.

How does our shuttle service or exclusive use trucking work, you may ask?  Great question! Every weekday at 7am our truck and driver arrives at the GE Headquarters in Westborough and receives his daily assignments which typically includes round trip stops at the GE warehouse in Framingham, and the warehouse in Franklin as well as stops at Steris Isometric (“the world’s pre-eminent infection prevention, decontamination, and surgical and critical care company”) in Northborough and Euro-American, a freight forwarding company in Worcester.

Our shuttle driver will work for up to 11 hours per day, and assists with the loading and offloading of freight as needed.  He is also available to move other company trailers in the yard, or to leave his trailer on premises overnight for storage.  Shuttle rates are calculated on an hourly basis so no need to factor in fuel surcharge or added mileage.  If your company is moving or you have a need for the exclusive use of our truck and driver for a day, a week, or more, please contact Nancy at for pricing and more information.  We have vehicles and drivers in equipment as small as a sedan to as large as a tractor trailer and everything in between.  For exclusive use tracking and daily shuttle runs in and around the Greater Boston area, make your first call to First Call Trucking & Courier.
